How to make Garden Fresh Salsa

The best season is here! The season where it is acceptable to eat chips with every meal all day everyday because we have garden fresh salsa available. I have such a large variety of tomatoes and bell peppers growing in the garden that I use more color the better when I make my salsa. Roma tomatoes are the usual types of tomatoes for salsa. But I enjoy the sweet cherry tomatoes in my salsa. Some of my favorite cherry tomatoes are gold nugget, black cherry and bumblebee. There are a variety of vibrant colors that add color to any dish. We eat Mexican food about once a week in our household and making our own fresh salsa fits on the menu perfectly.


You can use any food processor for the salsa mix. Our favorite is the Ninja. I will link some processors below you will need in your kitchen and trust me you will learn to use these a bunch on the homestead once you start to grow farm fresh food.
