Garden Fresh Pesto Recipe
Fresh basil is one of my favorite plants to grow in my summer garden. I love to make pesto using my basil with walnuts and pecans. I am going to share with you my Italian family recipe!
I am teaming up with some of my Instagram friends to have a garden party. We are sharing what are our favorite items to share in the garden to the kitchen. I am sharing my families Italian pesto that is made with walnuts and pecans.
Here are some fun images of collecting pesto in my summer garden on the homestead:
An easy recipe for homemade basil that is made with a few simple ingredients. is made from basil, garlic, cheese, nuts, and olive oil. I absolutely adore pesto and all of that super fresh and very garlic flavor! It’s something I especially start to crave more once the weather gets warm and the garden starts to flourish!. While store-bought pesto can taste great, absolutely nothing compares to the flavor of homemade pesto and my families recipe. I put pesto on everything I can eggs, stir fry’s, salmon and chicken I just love it on just about anything main course.
