Who craves a healthy treat on a summer afternoon? I do! Peaches are sweet and in season right now so making these peaches & cream smoothie Popsicles are the key to beating this heat this summer. We planted a variety of fruit trees last year and just two three years ago these peaches are from our older trees and we are so lucky to enjoy these sweet treats in the summer months. I crate health sweet treats I made these and I loved them I knew I needed to share them with all of your friends.
How do you make healthy peach Popsicles?
Ingredients:
6 Peaches, ripe
1/4 c honey
1 c vanilla yogurt ( I used Greek for the added protein)
makes 10 popsicles
Pick the peaches or purchases from the store, wash, rinse and get ready to cut in half and in wedges.
I cut some peaches into thin wedges to put some chunks into the Popsicle because I wanted them that way you do not need to do this step if you like your pop sickles all one consistency.
Cut up the peaches you would like to make into the popsicles and combine those with the other two ingredients into a food processor or blender. I mixed all the ingredients until there was no chucks in the liquids. I then pour this into the popsicle holder. At this step you can add the sticks in and the lid to hold them in place. lastly, it is this easy you put the delicious popsicles into the freezer until the right consistency for you to enjoy!
Here I am 6 months pregnant picking peaches. they are so sweet and juicy and I am just so thankful everyday we have the opportunity to homestead and grow our own food here at Thermaland Oaks. When choosing the the right peaches make sure the outside skin is tender to the touch, not mushy, but soft and ripe.
These are the items I used when making these delicious peaches & cream popsicles. The popsicle holder works great with the cover that holds the sticks in place.
