Spring is here and I have been loving the beautiful rainbow eggs & farm friends here on the homestead. I wanted to share some images that have not made it on instagram. I hope you enjoy them!

Our cute new donkey June has been a character and the best addition to the farm. We love having her here and it is so special to see Frankie react with her as she gets older. June loves to make her laugh and she is so friendly now. We have been working on halter training in the evenings as we walk around when Trevor gets home from work. These rainbow eggs fresh out of the cook are so special as we do not even need to dye them to make them Easter-friendly!

I love the mixture of green, blues, browns, reds, and spotted eggs. Can you tell which one is the turkey eggs? They are the larger cream-colored ones that have little brown spots of them!

Here are some images of our phase 2 addition. We extended the whiteboard and batt and I love the way the house looks! We will eventually add on again for phase three with a master bedroom, large living room, and kitchen but that will not be for years down the road. We are starting to landscape a little bit around the house too which is perfect timing to be home while on quarantine!

Beautiful fresh picked flowers freshly picked from the homestead. I have been going on week 3 with not leaving our home. I have been home with Frankie to keep her safe; Trevor has been to town for groceries and I thought bringing some fresh farm flowers in the house would add some beautiful colors! Perfect for springtime!

This week we partnered with a brand for a new couch and I love how modern the grey fabric is with the skinny legs. We had a L-shaped lounge in here and now we will have two couches. More room for entertaining. Now, training the dogs they can not get on the couch is the next task. I love our large window wall, grey couch and fresh picked flowers!

She brings so much happiness to our homestead we are so blessed to have her here! I love the look of dresses, boots, and hats on the farm! Don’t you?! Just in time for the weather to warm up!
