Today I am sharing about Frankie’s vintage claw tub in her nursery!

I am so excited to share part two of Frankie’s nursery. When we added on phase 2 of our home build I had always seen gorgeous Claw foot tubs for children in bathrooms but after deciding our plans we did not want to add in another bathroom right now. Trevor had an amazing idea to add in a tub in Frankie’s large bedroom nursery. With her concrete floors and starting from a raw foundation we were able to plum in an area for the tub. After much searching, I found my inspiration for her tub. A blush pink tub that will match perfectly in her grey, white and light pink theme of her floral wallpaper. What do you think? I believe it would be any girls dream to have a pink bathtub in their nursery! I partnered with Vintage Tub & Bath for the faucet on her pink bathtub.
Here is a blog post on the first blog post about Frankie’s Nursery with all the links.
Some other items we incorporated into the nursery. Our precious Francesca Rae was born on October 13th 2019 and is 7 months old already! We started to build the week we brought our little bundle home. Concrete for the new house addition was poured the day after we returned from the hospital. It has been a busy 7 months around here. Trevor and I have been very intentional with decorating Frankie’s nursery. The first thing I decided on was I wanted a soft rug for the concrete floors. My inspiration was June our baby mini donkey. I went with a lace and grey/white/ tan colored rug that a little bit resembled June.
Here is the link to her amazing rug that fits perfectly. I highly recommend the quality.
Here is the link to the Gold Crib that we have for Frankie’s nursery. We love it so much it also is in multiple colors. On sale half off!!
Minimal Moms Registry checklist items. A new baby brings a lot of change, but one thing that doesn’t have to change is your commitment to simple living. In fact with our small farmhouse we have kept our baby essentials to the minimum. I wanted to share with all of you what I have compiled for our baby.
Here are some other faucets that I love!
I hope you love Frankie’s nursery just as much as we do! I have to say at the end of the day after dinner getting Frankie’s ready for a bath is soo easy. I would be lying if I said I had not taken a bath with her a few times. She can splash around and no harm on the concrete floors. After we just dry her off and to the left her changing table on the wooden cabinet we get her ready for bed. What a blessing to have a husband who can build our dreams and design a one of a kind nursery.
Hugs, Christina
