I never fully understood how amazing holidays can be as a mother! Now with Farmgirl Frankie Rae celebrating every puddling, animal and holiday is my favorite. This year we had a fun Valentine’s Day party and we thought it would be fun to continue for the next holiday!

I wanted to share a few ways you can celebrate the green holiday with simple farmhouse & homestead living touches!! Do you decorate for St. Patrick’s Day? While I am not a fan of the mass produced decorations that seem to be designed for parties, I do love decorating with green and items from around the house. I choose to either create my own St. Patrick’s Day decorations or use pops of green in couches and clothes. This year however I have been noticing some really cute ways to decorate for Saint Patrick’s Day in farmhouse style. 1. Green furniture is my favorite

I do love this green couch is so comfortable and I love anything velvet

2. Layer green indoor plants with books on your side or coffee tables. I have my spring garden books sitting here with a pretty vining indoor pop of green plant. 

3. Of course green clothing and blow ties. Can you see our twin bows wearing a matching set? Also this cute green festive skirt I got for the holiday is so fun and festive!

4. Green treats you can dye rice crispy treats which is my favorite or make these amazing cookies that are perfect for this holiday.

5. Pillow or blankets with pops of green might be easier if you do not have green furniture on hand!
