Farmhouse Fall Tablescape Ideas
How to set fall tablescapes for your backyard dinner with guests with freshly picked farm & garden decor
Every time I put together a homestead tablescape, I approach it a little differently. Each time I usually have one inspiration piece or a starting off point. This time it was my mini orange pumpkins. I had been wanting to use the mini pumpkins that I grew in my garden. The mini orange pumpkins I had eyed for years at the grocery stores & on others table settings I finally realized I could grow my own on our homestead. It was a mini dream come true the day I harvested them and I could decorate with them.
What I also decorated with on our farm table decor was pomegranates, butternut squash and pumpkin chocolate oatmeal cookies. My husband loves pomegranates & I know he loves that he can pick them off the tree. For me I always seem to make a mess trying to eat them. The red vibrant colors of the pomegranates mixed with the earthy tones of the table and miss-matched wood chairs matched perfectly with the autumn colored blankets. I set the grey plates with a napkin mixed with the same colors as the farm fresh harvest table decor.
The table I purchased from barn estate sale and it is the perfect weathered piece to go with our outdoor patio meals. The views on the property are so amazing that it is nice to have a rustic farm table to go with it. The table setting also has fall colored deep reds and woven material taupe colored blankets go mix in with fall and the fall inspired garden decor. My biggest advice I can give to anyone who wants to decorate their tablescape for fall is pull from natural elements for a more farm to fork tablescape.
