What can I make for dinner when tired of everything?
Unfortunately, we all get tired of having to figure out what quick and easy meal we can throw together for dinner tonight. Let’s face it, trying to be a fancy chef isn’t always practical when you have crying babies and work to do. Luckily, there are so many quick and easy meal options out there for us to try. Today I’m going to share one of my favorites, but first, let’s look at a few different options.
If you’re looking for something hearty that you can throw together and bake, this Broccoli Chicken Cheddar Casserole can be a quick and easy meal for you tonight! With only a few simple ingredients, you can make a healthy and filling dish that the whole family will love! The flavors in this dish complement each other perfectly.
If you wanted to go the fresh route, maybe this Quinoa Pomegranate Salad with Candied Pecans is right up your alley! Salad is probably one of the most quick and easy meals there are, but the quinoa in this salad ensures that you finish with a full belly. Quinoa is considered a super food and is packed with much more nutrients than other grains. The pomegranate adds a sweet, fresh taste, and the pecans provide a wonderful flavor, as well as added protein!
What are some cheap meal ideas?
One of the best ways to keep your meals cheap is to grow your own vegetables and herbs! This eliminates the cost of your grocery bill considerably and provides fresh ingredients for you to create quick and easy meals with. You can use your fresh herbs as seasoning or garnish, and you can make your own rubs and spices! The options are endless.
One of my favorite things to make using vegetables from my garden is Butternut Squash Soup. There are so many unknown benefits to butternut squash, and it is truly so easy to grow. This soup can be made in the instant pot, which makes it a quick and easy meal that you can also make at a super low cost!
Even if you don’t grow your own vegetables, you can still make quick and easy meals in the instant pot at a low cost, depending on the ingredients. If you need to fill bellies on a budget, this Instant Pot Chicken and Rice Soup is not only filling, it’s healthy and delicious! You can add as many fresh ingredients as you like, but carrots, celery, and onion are the signature flavors of this dish. If you do grow any of these in your garden, you are even better off for creating a quick and easy meal that is low cost and that your family will love!
