We have some big news here at Thermaland Oaks Homestead! I have been on a waiting list for years for a female spotted min donkey baby and here she is! She was born on New years! Frankies Christmas present came a little late this year and we are so excited!

I CAN’T BELIEVE WE ARE GETTING OUR BABY DONKEY AFTER YEARS ON A WAITING LIST!

This pretty little girl is sweet and spunky already! She is so curious and is handled a lot by the breeder and we are sure she is going to be very friendly! Frankie was excited to see her and had so much fun meeting her. I am so excited that Frankie and little girl (unnamed) are only a few months apart in age. As Frankie gets older this will be her little sidekick. I can image years down the road them playing together and Frankie having a great relationship with her. here are so adorable pictures of us meeting her at the breeders farm.

She is just about 10 pounds with a fluffy cotton ball forehead. She has the most adorable tan and white spots on her little body. Her hears perk up when she is curious and she absolutely loved to have her butt scratched! Her butt and back were her happy places to be touched. We are going to get a little halter when we are able to bring her home to train her to follow. The mama was very sweet too a kind temperament when is great to teach this little girl!

Look at this pair they are so adorable!! Ahh i love them so much already. Our little family and homestead are growing this year. What a blessing to curate this homestead life for our family. Thank you for following our journey friends!

I did say this little mini donkey is for Frankie but I am just as in love with her. We want to continue with the county artist animal names around here. If you have any ideas please leave a comment.
